About
I'm Lisa Rink, an artist originally from Brisbane. Captivated by the play of light and shadow in our environment. My abstract artworks, crafted with oil paint and bold brushwork, capture landscapes, still life, and the vibrant energy of beach scenes.
From the tranquility of living in Noosa and my expansive history with Equestrian I love to translate these inspirations into expressive pieces that evoke movement and emotion.
With a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Seven Hills Qld College of Art, I've freelanced for advertising and architectural firms, creating commissioned oil paintings for diverse spaces like board rooms in the CBD, restaurants, shopping centres, and private homes.
At 2020 gallery, my work was showcased at James St New Farm Gallery with a sell-out show and received acclaim in the Sunday Mail. I was honoured to win 1st prize in the oil painting category at the Brookfield Show in the last two years and have been a finalist in Doyle’s art competition.
